Welcome to the Northwoods
Our club is located in Tomahawk, Wisconsin and works with other area clubs to promote and maintain arguably some of the very best trails in all of Wisconsin. We were organized in 1994 and currently have in excess of 500 members. The club works closely with the Northwoods Passage Snowmobile club, as well as the Knight Owls and Northern Trails Unlimited clubs. As a “social club” the Northwoods Riders members provide assistance to other clubs with trail marking, brushing and clean-up efforts, as well as supporting them with financial contributions as we are able.
“…to stimulate and advance the general welfare and safety of snowmobiling, to serve the interests of snowmobile owners, to develop a fraternal spirit among local snowmobile and other winter sports enthusiasts, to provide a medium of exchange for snowmobile information and to perform all desirable and lawful functions for the successful operation of the club and in the general public interest.”
Membership in the Northwoods Riders is fun and easy! Annual dues are $25 for an Individual or $30 for a Family. As a member of the club you will automatically receive membership in the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Club (AWSC) which will provide access to all of their membership benefits including access to discounted Wisconsin Trail Passes. The club meets at 7:00pm on the fourth Monday of each month beginning in September and running through March. Food and a beverage are provided to everyone attending a meeting. In February we host a Club Breakfast which is free to all members. We also host a trailside cookout in February that is open to anyone, as well as the very popular PONTOON PALOOZA on the third Saturday of July – every year.
